Promotion and marketing on the internet is very important for the survival of products and businesses online. There are many ways in which you can market your product online. Some of these methods are traditionally being used for the promotion and advertising purposes. Other methods are nontraditional methods which are now used as a tool to supplement the promotional efforts. Few of the promotional techniques are more effective than the others. Email marketing campaigns are one of those methods. Email marketing can be a really effective method of promoting a product or a web site, provided you take care of two things. First of all you need to have a long opt in kind of list of email addresses to send your emails. Secondly, and most importantly, if you want to take advantage of the email campaign you are planning, you need to have an auto responder in place. If you have an active auto responder, you will be able to get maximum benefit out of your campaign.
You can excell at the use of auto responders. Your auto responder can be a really good source of getting positive response from the recipients. Write a good email and send it out. Once you start getting responses, you can handle those through your auto responder. A nicely written welcome or greeting note will suffice. In this way you can use auto responders to your advantage. The recipient will feel important as he or she will get the response very quickly. The queries or requests can be handled manually later on.
