Bet on it! Im going to show you a way to make money online minus a web site or web page.
Can I be clear about a few things before I get into this? Im sure youre as tired as I am of promises made about how to make money online using one program or another. What also bothers me is the MLM pyramid schemes online where in some cases they actually lie to you. And how about the ones who promise to make you $10,000 in 3 hours, if you do as I say, yada yada yada.
One thing you can trust about the online marketplace: If you want to make money online, it is very doable. There are people on the internet who make money in a variety of ways, some ethical some unethical.
Ok, so enough of that. Now, no unnecessary claims, but what Im about to say will hopefully get some ideas percolatin here about the possibilities of starting your own online business. Perhaps youve been too timid to build your own website or get a point and click that provides you with all the templates. Maybe its a matter of money or maybe you lack the commitment.
Thats where I come in. Im going to give you a basic plan to help you get started. Keep in mind thats all it will do, is get you started. Hopefully it will give you the confidence to aspire to some longer range goals. Eventually, youll need a website. You need to create a professional attitude on line. You can start out small, be patient, reinvest your profits and eventually reap the harvest of your efforts.
So how do we start?
The first thing you will do is choose someone elses product, because like others already online, you do not have your own to promote. You will want to visit clickbank.com or commission junction.com. Between these two online companies, they represent thousands of merchants. You can sign up to become an affiliate and represent them. This is at no cost to you.
Next thing, is to sign up for an autoresponder account. What an autoresponder does is let you load a series of emails that will automatically go out to your subscribers. For instance someone who responds to your list will receive an automated personalized message welcoming them to your list. On a predetermined schedule set up by you, your subscriber will receive a series of emails containing valuable information from you.
Your next move is to write a list of email letters. This at first may prove quite difficult. But the more you write the easier it will become. The first email you write will be a welcoming one to your subscriber explaining what to expect and offering a few tips.
The next few emails would be to talk some more about your product and offer some more tips. Include a link at the end of the email promoting the product you have chosen. Click one of the links at the end of this article to get a series of emails to help you decide what you want to do.
Once the autoresponder account is set up with some messages, you can insert a web form to help generate subscribers to opt into your list.
After this, you will advertise your link or web form in newsletters, ezines, or high traffic websites. When the readers read your ad, some will click through and become subscribers to your list. This gives you a more targeted group to grow your business.
This is a rather simple scenario I have laid out, and of course it involves more detail. But as you examine each of these parts and work to get better at them, things will start to fall in place. Some of the emails you write will be good, others not so good. The same goes for your copy. Some days youll be inspired, and others will be drudgery.
Youll have good days and bad. Youll thrill when you make a sale and despair during slower spells. Having an autoresponder is great for testing results, so make sure you do that with everything. These systems are equipped with great tracking devices. Make use of them.
